The Berry Season

You could say the berry season is our 2nd favorite time of the year (the first is, of course, Christmas). You and your family can venture out on the farm or place and order for fresh and delicious Blackberries and Blueberries! We provide everything you need to pick and take your berries home. We can’t wait to see y’all!

We have grown 4 acres of blackberries for more than 20 years, which has been a learning experience. We're currently growing four varieties of thorn-less blackberries; Osage, Natchez, Ponca, and Caddo.

Since 2011, we have been growing eight varieties; Blue Crop, Blue Ray, Chandler, Duke, Patriot, Blue Ribbon, Top Shelf, and Reka. We currently have 1.5 acres, which are covered by a net that prevents birds from getting to the berries.

Ways to Enjoy the Berries!

Fresh!

Our berries are good to eat as soon as you get home (or to the car) but we do recommend washing and letting air-dry.

Frozen!

If freezing, wash and thoroughly dry before placing blueberries in an airtight bag in freezer. For blackberries, we recommend placing on cookie sheets to freeze for a few hours and then sliding them into a bag!

Preserved!

Who doesn’t love berry jam?? Here’s a quick jam recipe, but if interested in preserving longer than a year, follow these handy steps!
